Why Attend The e-Gov Summit?
The Dataquest e-Gov Summit 2008 would serve as a superb opportunity to interact with e-Gov enthusiasts and champions from across the spectrum—representatives from the government, bureaucrats, district and municipal level influencers, representatives from the judiciary, civil societies, academia, chamber of commerce, IT industry and legal experts.
It’s is an opportunity for knowledge sharing on innovative e-Gov implementations, besides engaging with colleagues and experts handling similar e-Gov projects, dealing with transformation and GPR challenges, automation of back office processes and integration (both within and between services).
The Summit also has an e-GovExpo to showcase latest in technologies and service tools that are poised to transform all government processes and transactions and government-to-citizen interaction. The e-GovExpo
also provides an opportunity for one-to-one interaction
with suppliers and live demo facility to see the solutions
and technologies in action.
Finally, as a deliverable, action point summary, and a
‘best practice précis’, this event aims to form strategies
for ‘Inclusive Growth’ by involving all the key
stakeholders, especially governments. These should be
practical and achievable steps that will take the country
significantly forward in the year ahead—10 milestones that
can be measured.
The highlight of the Summit would also be the
felicitation ceremony of e-Gov Champions and the
regional-level ‘Best e-Governed State Award’ based on the
Dataquest-IDC e-Gov Satisfaction Index Survey.
